http://stephanieandmicah.blogspot.com/2011/08/cousin-pics-round-2.html
Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Cousin Pics- Round 2. We went to take cousin pics again this year at Joyce's request. We got a lot more individual pictures of Kaitlyn and my nephews. We went to Innovations (in the Central Texas Marketplace) and had a much better experience than we did at Sears last year. Here are some of the best ones. Notice my toe at the bottom of the picture. They chopped it out of the ones we took home! Cousin picture with Caleb (5) and Hunter (23 months)- see below for last year's picture.

McPherson Marathon: May 2014
http://mcphersonmarathon.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 26, 2014. A big success for us here and when I got to the front desk my normal point to the picture method of speaking Japanese worked! In the afternoon we headed to Okuma - the military resort - and played at the beach. While there we were so glad we found our little gem hidden in the woods because there were so many tents lined up and way to many people for us. To end the night we cooked kabobs and after 2 exciting nights the girls crashed! Why not put chalk on your face? OKUMA - beach time.

McPherson Marathon: December 2014

Tuesday, December 23, 2014. Epic Adventures with Granny and BertBurt. While Granny and BertBurt were here we tried to cram in as many adventures as possible. Some days were big adventures and others were not so big but everyday we loved hanging out and being with family. We saw castles, rode roller slides, had parties and even mastered stealing kid forks instead of using chopsticks. The girls favorite things:. People who constantly spoiled them. Enough adults so everyone got one on one attention. BertBur...

http://mcphersonmarathon.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Pictures of the girls on Jon's uniform with his unit patches (so I can remember where they were born). Last day of being 4. Year of the Horse! Driving her sisters around already. The chimp threw his poop all over the girls. So we let his stone brother know we don't like have poop thrown on us. Getting ready for a day of celebrating our special oldest child! Donuts and juice - brought some to her classmates. Played at the beach before school. Loved celebrating her life today!

McPherson Marathon: May 2015
http://mcphersonmarathon.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 25, 2015. For Memorial Day we planned a 24 hour getaway with some friends. Between work, life and school Jon is in we decided a short trip away from regular life would be a great break from life and a time to reconnect as a family. We found an island while geocaching one day and so I looked it up on priceline and found a hotel and thought - why not! A hotel play room - perfect for a rainy afternoon. Ping Pong room next door - bring it on! Japanese hotels are the best. Jon and Ashley McP.

McPherson Marathon: July 2014
http://mcphersonmarathon.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 21, 2014. I have had a goal to see 6 of the 7 continents by the time I was 35. Well that day is quickly approaching and I was stuck at 4 for a long time and now Jon and I have gone to our 5th! What did we do while in Australia? The only request Jon had was for us to visit the original Hillsong church. We made it there and enjoyed worship with a lot of people to love Jesus! One of the best war memorials. Chinese Garden in downtown. Touring - see that bridge behind us? Looking at the 3 sisters.

Stephanie and Micah: the blog(spot): NESTS
http://stephanieandmicah.blogspot.com/2011/09/nests.html
Wednesday, September 07, 2011. Our church does a mom's ministry twice monthly called "nests." It is a place where you can come, be encouraged in the word, and be mentored by "seasoned" mothers. They provide childcare for your children so that you can focus and participate for 3 hours without distractions. Last year, I was unable to be a part of Nests because I worked on Mondays and Wednesdays and they meeton Wednesdays. Then she listed some tools to help transform your perspective on being a mom:. I cert...

Stephanie and Micah: the blog(spot): Ashlyn's Wedding
http://stephanieandmicah.blogspot.com/2011/09/ashlyns-wedding.html
Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Congratulations to Ashlyn and Ted Baker, newlyweds. After several years of dating, they finally tied the knot this past weekend on 9/10/11 (kind of a cool date.) They were married in the newly built St. Mary's Catholic church in Texas City. It was a beautiful church! Since Ashlyn is one of the "great 8" (my group of best friends from high school), I knew several of the bridesmaids. The reception was at Moody Gardens in Galveston. Quite a fancy place! Live, Laugh, Lloyd.

Stephanie and Micah: the blog(spot): Visiting Louisiana- July
http://stephanieandmicah.blogspot.com/2011/08/visiting-louisiana-july.html
Tuesday, August 30, 2011. In mid-July, we decided to make a trip to Louisiana to specifically see Momo (since my parents would be coming to Waco the following week). It's so nice to be able to travel for a week and not to have to ask anyone for time off from work! Playing "Baby" with Mamaw. Saying "hi" to Papa- she literally did this about 1000 times! Train ride with Momo. Highlight of the trip for Mo. She loved seeing the cows and going on adventures with Granddad. One of my favorite places in the world.
