Friday, February 27, 2015. Diary of a church planter's wife- our first meetings. We had our first official meeting of Mercy Church on Sunday February 8. We met in our house and had about 30 people who have signed on to move from Raleigh with us to Charlotte. It was absolutely incredible. The following week, Spence and I went to Charlotte to have our first meeting of the Charlotte based portion of Mercy. I so enjoyed meeting everyone from there and putting names and faces together. Sunday, March 30, 2014. She is a half a year. We have survived as parents of four for six months! She is sitting up, rolling all over and really wants to crawl. We haven't started solids with her yet because she is just not interested. She is babbling. She has regressed in sleeping, but goes right back to sleep after I feed her. I was 15 weeks yesterday. Wednesday I went to the doctor and heard the heartbeat again - so fun :). The baby had hiccups (the midwife said) while she was listening to the heartbeat. So far everything is going really well. I feel good, Wade's home from grad school and gearing up for CDS to start. The glider and the crib came in, so the nursery is even starting to take shape! Monday, November 2, 2009. Like most holidays, our family celebrated Halloween mulitiple times this past week. It all began last Wednesday with a fall festival at my parent's church- Ridgecrest. Avery dressed as a pirate and Lilly in her lady bug outfit. It was a lot of fun for us all, with games, food, bounce house, and of course goodies! Mimi and Papa enjoyed showing off their pride and joys! And the pirate costume got tossed "overboard"! And Mommy and Daddy each carved one to sit on the front porch.

Eight days ago, our sweet Caden Mitchell Tapp joined us at 1:34 am, on January 22, 2011. He was 8 lbs, 9 oz, and 20.5 inches long. I was in labor for about 18 hours from the time I was induced Friday morning. It was a very long day, and there were points where I wasn't making any progress and the nurses suggested I could just go home and come back another day.
