A blog of endless curiosity. Come on everybody, join the Procrasto-nation. LP and I are in the middle of studying for exams at the moment, so I thought I’d give you a roundup of our favourite procrastination websites, webcomics and weblove. Recently entering my sphere of vision is: The Abominable Charles Christopher. Next up is one of LP’s current favourites from Erika Moen at Bitch Media, ‘Oh Joy Sex Toy! A comic-style (hilarious) review of sex toys. “No hands ma! All Back No Front. You are commenting u...

Plenty Side: August 2008
http://plentyside.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Playing track 6, track 7, again and again. Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Live Review - Kristin Hersh. Kristin Hersh: Paradoxical Undressing. St Cecilia's Hall, Edinburgh. So, tonight's entertainment is in a drawing room, upstairs from. It's just this emptiness. I can"t chase it away. KH was just what was required. My pillow screams too and so does my kitchen and water and my shoes. Thought this hardness was a shell. It's a hard, hard hard core. Or is it The Quireboys? It's getting close to show time. T...

Playing track 6, track 7, again and again. Sunday, July 27, 2008. Live Review - Joanna Newsom / Daniel Johnston. Somerset House, London. An Evening with Daniel Johnston. I'll couple these last two gigs I attended in a quick review, mainly as I can't get the following phrase out of my head, a phrase I heard last year from a friend of a friend that seems to utterly encapsulate these performers -. You don't want normal people writing songs. No, we really don't. Tuesday, July 15, 2008. Lo hi, cheap and divine.

Playing track 6, track 7, again and again. Wednesday, October 08, 2008. Record Review - Rozi Plain. And nothing matters more than "360º", the extraordinary centrepiece of "Inside Over Here". A solitary guitar plucks away, Rozi's voice emotive and full of longing, an economic and sparse delivery but all the more powerful for it. Voice and guitar, that's all you need. Plenty Side: November 2010
http://plentyside.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Playing track 6, track 7, again and again. Sunday, November 28, 2010. Brr bit nippy out isn't it? Luckily, this podcast is brought to you by two of the finest words in this situation - "central" and "heating". I did take up my own advice at the start of the show and turned the heating up and got a nice cup of tea (no cat to curl up with on the sofa alas, not now that Simba's moved away (he was a neighbour's cat who used to frequent the stair and subsequently my flat! The next show should have a Godspeed ...

Plenty Side: Plentycast - April 2013
http://plentyside.blogspot.com/2013/04/plentycast-april-2013.html
Playing track 6, track 7, again and again. Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Plentycast - April 2013. Well, after a period of inactivity comes a period of activity I guess. We're now all caught up and are actually recording and releasing the April podcast in April! I will say however that the aforementioned period of activity does bring its pressures in having to think about having enough tracks to play within a short time frame of each other so I don't know how those weekly podcasters do it! Anyway, on you go -.
