I've been avoiding my computer like the plague this summer, probably the result of a need to just "take a break" from anything that feels like work (at least when I am able to). Thursday, January 29, 2009. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! We got a fantastic Christmas gift from Grandma and Grandpa this year. a two night package for a nearby hotel! We had a family theme suite, and given the kids' obsession with wall*e, I wasn't surprised when they chose a space themed suite. Their themed room was basically a large closet with two bunk beds, a tv and playstation, and walls and ceiling painted in a space theme. They loved the room! Links to this post. Sunday, August 22, 2010. The kids have come to really look forward to the festival every summer. They are still in the "just right" age for the inflatables, and that was a huge highlight for them. We spent lots of time trying to keep track of all three of them on the inflatables on Friday night and Saturday. It was a beautiful, hot and sunny weekend, and we spent lots of time outdooors. Friday, February 5, 2010. The last weekend of January was lots of fun. The weather was fantastic. It was warm, and snowy. The kind of weather where snow sticks together perfectly. On Saturday we made a couple of big snow forts in the backyard. L and Dad used doors that we'd pulled out of the basement to construct a fort. The kids and I made a snow fort. Wednesday, November 25, 2009. We were really blessed to have beautiful weather during October, and Halloween was no different! We've been wearing fall jackets for most of the month, and just had our first "real" snow last night. If we're lucky, it will melt :-). This year, Halloween fun lasted more than two days. G and L had pumpkin days, dress-up day, and lots of fun activities at school. Our daycare had a fall party, and the kids had lots of opportunities for dress-up and games! Links to this post.

Thursday, April 2, 2009. Goodbye Disney, we'll miss you! After a late supper, we swam for about an hour (we promised the kids a late bedtime on our last night), did some laundry and got packed up, so that we could swim again in the morning before we needed to leave. Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Glad that January is over! I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm sure glad that it's February. January is never an easy month. While the Christmas break is always great, the return to real life can be intense! I think that if we can address some of the biological factors that may be getting in the way, that we'll see an even bigger difference. Monday, October 19, 2009. Links to this post. M came along for the ride, and G went for a round of golf with Grandma and Grandpa. The girls were so excited to climb onto the carriage, and it was a special treat when a dog jumped up into the wagon to come along for the ride. The girls pet the dog, watched for butterflies and flowers, and smiled a lot! Links to this post. Wednesday, October 14, 2009. It meant that he passed level 1! Another big event during the summer holidays was G losing his first tooth!
