It's not Whitebread!!!: Preach it, Samwise Gamgee
http://djwhitbread.blogspot.com/2010/11/preach-it-samwise-gamgee.html
Thursday, November 11, 2010. Preach it, Samwise Gamgee. It's not likely I'll get very much response (since its been a year since posting) however I have a question still. Which is worse - the battle itself or sitting on the edge of one, knowing it's inevitable and you can't do anything about it? Posted by Joy and Darrin @ 9:19 AM. Sitting on the edge definitely! This is the PUDDICOMBE CLAN! I thought about this and could easily decide both! Althoug battles dont really sound all that fun either! Ive disco...

It's not Whitebread!!!: I have so much to say........
http://djwhitbread.blogspot.com/2011/06/i-have-so-much-to-say.html
Wednesday, June 01, 2011. I have so much to say. But nothing really to speak of. This week at work we celebrated International Pickle Week. We served a variety of pickles (and dill pickle chips) to our patients, had pickle facts, and picked our pickle preference. Dill was the winner! It's all a part of our "Barnett's Bizarre, Weird, Wild and Wacky Random Reasons for Revelry". It's got me to thinking. Without pickles, America may not have been discovered! Things are pretty good. Post seem to be running of...

It's not Whitebread!!!: September 2006
http://djwhitbread.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 29, 2006. At least one sorta looks like me. If you have ever seen my husband (except on the picture in the previous post), you will know that I make babies that look like him. Not that there is ever a question! Mind you, he is adopted and could be the carrier of some recessive 'black' genes - you never know. Anyhoo.I think the older one may be beginning to show signs that he is mine too. Yeah! Posted by Joy and Darrin @ 10:26 AM. Monday, September 18, 2006. This makes me smile! If you h...

It's not Whitebread!!!: October 2006
http://djwhitbread.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 31, 2006. I have a very sucessful candy pyramid scheme happening here. Sure I do a little work by decorating and buying the costume but it is the efforts of the little guys under me that do most of the work. They get dressed up all cute and everything, go door to door, recite a little jingle and they get candy! And so, the diet and excercise routine resumes on Monday. (I need a week to binge! Posted by Joy and Darrin @ 7:30 PM. Tuesday, October 24, 2006. Ie vs e.g. WHO AM I KIDDING?

It's not Whitebread!!!: Hoarders
http://djwhitbread.blogspot.com/2009/11/hoarders.html
Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Does anyone watch the show "Hoarders" on t.v? It is crazy the amount of stuff that people keep around. I have never considered myself to be a pack rat or being overly emotionally attached to much (my years of moving around has done that to me) but I was shocked at myself today. Here is a list of the contents of my two purses combined:. Mints (from Father's Day at the church). Map of downtown Washington, D.C. A blue hospital card for "baby boy Whitbread". 6 tubes of lipgloss.

On it, to a variety of other colours and reminders, we've discovered the power of a simple physical reminder. Create your own wristband. What word or words would you need on yours? It's not Whitebread!!!: May 2006
http://djwhitbread.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 29, 2006. ED Whitbread, PhD. Today we graduate from pre- school; tomorrow from Harvard. Time seems to fly by just that fast. Ethan has enjoyed every day at preschool and we are all very sad to see it end. Mrs. B was fantastic and has now officially set the bar at a practically unattainable height for any future educator of my son. If you have the opportunity to take you child to her pre-school, you should seriously consider it. It was fun and sad all at the same time. There's good news and.

It's not Whitebread!!!: All's quiet....
http://djwhitbread.blogspot.com/2009/11/alls-quiet.html
Thursday, November 19, 2009. It is 1:45 pm and it is beautiful. Soup is simmering on the stove, meat is marinating in the fridge, and the sun is shinng through onto the kitchen table where I sit in silence. Nothing but the sound of me typing. Kids are in school and I have about 40 minutes until I leave to go get them. I think I'll leave early, fill up the truck with gas, get a coffee and sit in more silence on the parking lot of St. Andrew's Preschool. I am going to sit in silence now. The winds of change.

It's not Whitebread!!!: June 2006
http://djwhitbread.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 28, 2006. June 28th, 1997. I held 12 red roses and the hand of the man I love. For the first time ever, we are apart for our wedding anniversary. I am quite sad about it actually. And so, I will spend it with my sister, at the mall. I did receive a card in the mail though so I will share how thoughtful my husband is. When you look into the mirror today, I want you to see the same beautiful face I see whenever I look at you. Happy Anniversary, Darrin. Posted by Joy and Darrin @ 12:53 PM.

It's not Whitebread!!!: August 2006
http://djwhitbread.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 31, 2006. What an exciting summer! But I gotta say, it is good to be home. The following is a list of the contents in my fridge:. 2 slices leftover pizza. Several condiments and sauces. My question is: How long can one live on the afore mentioned items? I do have chips, crackers, pasta and rice as well so I figure 4-6 days (in addition to the 2 we've been back! We'll have to see. Unrelated photo - just thought I'd update you.
