Carla's Adventures in Europe: Winter Blahs
http://carlaconfiant.blogspot.com/2011/02/winter-blahs.html
Carla's Adventures in Europe. Friday, 18 February 2011. Since New Years I've been officially moved back into the house with Amanda and have found two roommates to occupy the once empty-ish house that I lived in two years ago. One of the roommates is from China and the other Saudi Arabia. They are pretty quiet and I don't really see them very much so the situation is quite ideal really. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Carla's Adventures in Europe: Family Matters
http://carlaconfiant.blogspot.com/2010/08/family-matters.html
Carla's Adventures in Europe. Saturday, 28 August 2010. I guess the answer to if it was possible to be sick of summer is NO! I have left the warm sunny beaches of Cape Breton for a rainy, miserable London. Not surprising really, but still disappointing nonetheless. Since my last post, I've been so busy that my head was left spinning until I boarded the plane on the 23ed. The past few weeks have flown by and I find it hard to think that I just spent six weeks with family and friends at home. When I got ba...

Carla's Adventures in Europe: November 2009
http://carlaconfiant.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Carla's Adventures in Europe. Thursday, 19 November 2009. So it's only been one day since my last post, but I feel inspired to write tonight. I think I might be going mad. You know that feeling you get when you've been stressed for a long period of time but you don't really realize it until it all comes to a head and you start to feel strange? You just feel like laughing for no apparent reason? All I can think is I only have one more week to get through until I can escape London for a bit and go to Madri...

Carla's Adventures in Europe: July 2010
http://carlaconfiant.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Carla's Adventures in Europe. Tuesday, 13 July 2010. Mr and Mrs. Confiant do London. Since I have been quite neglectful of my blog in the last two weeks, this will be possibly the longest installment yet. I have been so utterly busy since the last post that this is actually the first time I have had to sit down and to write. So hold on and don't give up even if it goes on forever! Bahahahaahahaha. They really did say the cutest things! To top off the day, that was really emotional to begin with, the girl...

Carla's Adventures in Europe: February 2010
http://carlaconfiant.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Carla's Adventures in Europe. Wednesday, 24 February 2010. Some Time with London. I find it extremely hard to believe that I have just finished my third break since arriving in London. Can you believe that I've been here for six whole months? I can't that's for sure. The time is going by so fast that at times I'm finding it hard to keep track of everything that is happening. Thank goodness for my blog. Well this club is seriously CRAZY. it's the kind of club where you randomly meet cross dressers and...

Carla's Adventures in Europe: May 2010
http://carlaconfiant.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Carla's Adventures in Europe. Monday, 24 May 2010. Swelteringly hot in London. Sunday was even hotter, if possible. The sweat was dripping off me just walking to the bus stop in Camden. The weather has slid on into the week as well, which is great because it will keep my spirits up as I stumble through this last week of work before the June break. And what do I have planned for this break, you may be asking. I'm still not sure what is going on at BEC theses days, no one has really filled me in much excep...

Carla's Adventures in Europe: March 2010
http://carlaconfiant.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Carla's Adventures in Europe. Monday, 29 March 2010. Inspiration, or the lack thereof. This weekend started off like most, a drink at the Bull and then Marta and I made dinner together and headed to Camden Town with no particular destination. We went to a few bars (I wasn't allowed in one, cause I didn't have my id - crazy I know given my age). Saturday we did much of the same, but found this cute little place called the Monarchy that was playing movie theme songs. Wednesday, 24 March 2010. To my surpris...

Carla's Adventures in Europe: April 2010
http://carlaconfiant.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Carla's Adventures in Europe. Monday, 26 April 2010. Every Cloud Has A Silver Lining. I got home, showered and headed out to the internet cafe, but not before meeting a surprised Marta on the street. She dropped her bags and ran to me with open arms.I was so happy to finally be home. We drove two hoursish to the town and arrived in the sun! Later that day I met up with the guide for the BEC tour in the park and we joined the group for some Indian food. It was really nice to just sit with the kids and...
