Friday, August 10, 2012. NOT that kind of post…. Both of my parents were born and raised in Mexico. That first semester she got straight A’s; it was a snowball affect from there on out. My brother even went back to school with us. I was THAT girl who’s Mom went to college LOL. My mother and I don’t always get along. Her deep sense of privacy, independence, and Type A personality make us butt heads on more occasions than I’d like to admit. She’s cooler than me what can I say? I am a proud Chicana.
