Sunday, February 11, 2007. Two Mandarins in a Bag. I topped of a working week in Singapore by staying over for the Chinese New Year, the year of the golden pig. Chinatown was packed on Saturday night and Sunday I spent a family day on the beach, with ships stretching for miles on the horizon. One of the great things about the artificial trading city of Singapore is the food, restaurants of any flavour you want. We tossed noodles at a Japanese restaurant for prosperity.
