I love to see my beautiful, amazing friends and their families and how much they've grown. I didn't send out Christmas cards this year because, well frankly, I couldn't afford it. Secondly, I do not like being your pitiable friend who still, at this stage of life, struggles to meet the simplest milestones. I have a hard time believing it myself.

It was fun and successful despite illness. We had a great party with our friends up the canyon (that only Shayla and I could go to, due to illness) and a fun trunk or treat (we claimed wellness to make one round through the cars). We carved pumpkins, and of course trick or treated! The chicken was reborn! Trick or Treat, brock brock!

Monday, February 25, 2008. It snowed like freakin. Crazy here last week, and on my way to work I saw a bunch of little sledders heading to the park. It reminded me of another day in that park that was kind of perfect. Parkway and crab apple. Meadow. Doesn't that sound nice? The setting: It happened to be Thanksgiving Day, and it was a magical SIXTY-FIVE degrees in New York. For weather weirdness, this is on par with snow in Los Angeles. Monday, August 27, 2012. First day of 4th Grade! First day of 4th Grade! Are you kidding me? I'm still a cryer. I think I was the only mom in the 4th grade line that had tears. Summer went toooooo fast. But we did have fun! I'll hopefully do more on that later, but wow! Now I have to talk about a beautiful 4th grader.
