From the Bumpy Road: December 2010
http://lisalundy.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
From the Bumpy Road. Dec 21, 2010. John Parker at 10 months. Only a few months until our little man is a year old. I can't believe it. I was just telling my friend Lindsey this morning that I remember so clearly the first few months of his life thinking, "Will I ever sleep again? It goes by so fast. Here are a few things about our 10-month-old:. Since then, he's gained confidence and ventures out a little more all the time. I think he wants to be able to chase Kate and Alli around the house. From the Bumpy Road: An ordinary day
http://lisalundy.blogspot.com/2011/10/dear-babies-today-is-not-your-birthday.html
From the Bumpy Road. Oct 21, 2011. Today is not your birthday. It's not a special day. It's just an ordinary Friday. But I am overwhelmed today at the gift of being your mom and I thought I should mark the day with a post. Here are some things I love about you today:. Singing "Ring around the Rosy" in the backyard until we all fall down and end up covered in leaves. The Wheels on the Bus! Your love for your daddy. He is your hero and you just can't get enough of him. Posted by From the Bumpy Road. Those ...

From the Bumpy Road. Sep 4, 2011. In God we trust. Every letter I ever got from my grandmother had the words "In God we trust" written across the back of the envelope. I got the news tonight that she passed from this world into the arms of Jesus. I can't help but reflect on the importance of those words to her. In all my life, I never saw her faith in God waver. I never saw her miss an opportunity to share God's love. I'm so glad she had the occasion to meet and hold both of my children. I wi...Those who...

Honey Dot Comb: Enter the rank amateur
http://honeydotcomb.blogspot.com/2007/02/enter-rank-amateur.html
Saturday, February 10, 2007. Enter the rank amateur. Bees have been buzzing around my head, figuratively, for a couple of years now. Before long, I hope, they will be buzzing - literally - around my head (but not too closely). I am about to enter the world of beekeeping. I have been reading a lot about it. I have been attending meetings of the Blount County, Tenn., Beekeepers Association. The beekeepers association is having its annual two-night beekeeping workshop next week, and I will be attending that.

From the Bumpy Road. Jan 29, 2011. Always a blog researcher, never a blogger. I’m sitting in the Nashville airport (on the floor because that’s the only place I could plug in my weary laptop) and reflecting on my first blogging conference, Blissdom. I’ve been studying women bloggers for some time now, but this is my first immersion experience. I liken it to studying a foreign language. After immersing myself in the world of women bloggers for a few days, I’ve learned a few things:. These women are amazing.

From the Bumpy Road: April 2011
http://lisalundy.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
From the Bumpy Road. Apr 21, 2011. We planted Impatiens this year on our patio. As I watered the plants yesterday afternoon, both of my children underfoot trying to get as wet as possible, I couldn't believe all of the buds ready to burst forth with color. With friends coming over for Easter, I delighted to think about how beautiful they'd be this weekend. They looked a little measly yesterday. And the curtain of the temple was torn in two (emphasis mine). What am I sharing all of this? Jesus Christ is a...

Jackie Likes to Eat: Turkey Veggie Pasta
http://jackie-eats.blogspot.com/2013/01/turkey-veggie-pasta.html
Jackie Likes to Eat. I like to cook, bake, and eat. It's my favorite. New Years Resoultion- 2011. New Years Resoultion- 2012. Wednesday, January 16, 2013. I've been trying to eat more brussels sprouts. I "didn't like them" as a child but to be honest, I'm not really sure that I ever had one. I found this recipe that called for brussels sprouts in pasta and my mind was blown. I don't think I've ever seen something like that before so I decided to give it a shot! 3/4 lb 93% lean ground turkey. To the skill...
