Friday, April 24, 2015. Steel, Salt, and Rainbows. My rod bent in half and the deep, hard jerks confirmed it wasn't a brat fish, but a good representation of an Umpqua fish. "Jim, it feels like a real good one! The fish is, by several pounds, my biggest steelhead I've ever caught. The most amazing twist in this fish story is it is a clipped-fish, which means it could be kept. The river is known for very few "keepers" especially in the magnum size! Thanks Jim for your help landing the fish and friendship.

She asked if I thought I could find a few fish close to home in a place the whole family could go. I had an idea, but I had no clue if it would work out. It turns out that it worked out great! I picked up this Antique Silver tray from 'The Queen" the day before the shoot that someone had already painted turquoise and distressed it, but I saw the potential of a fun chalkboard and ran next door to the Hob Lob for the paint. Monday, December 15, 2014. Show Shots, Big Gratitude. We had beautiful weather, everything was sparking, crisp and washed from rain the previous day (YAY). Here is a smattering of shots of our show. Most of them are taken at set up because, fortunately we get pretty busy and it's difficult to get action shots. We all worked hard to have a nice variety to choose from. A tradition I started last year I call my "Where's Waldo". I always have fun decorating, this one found a good home rose hips and all.
