I have been going in circles trying to figure out how to connect my server to validate subscriptions and follow up on them. Here are several things that tripped me up:. The current user has insufficient permissions to perform the requested operation. This is fixed by linking the api in the Play Store settings. Hope this helps anyone with similar problems.
