I mean the season of Pentecost is more than long enough and frankly I can only look at green vestments for so long. All jokes and sarcasm aside, Advent is a season of preparation, but the question we need to ask ourselves is: for what are we supposed to be preparing? Are we preparing for Christmas? Are we preparing for the birth of Jesus? Will there be room for him at your table? Or how they smell?
