Aluminastic enhanced race car wins! When Chase Wheels wanted a competitive edge on the racetrack, they contracted Aluminastic to design and fabricate a more lightweight racing hub. The racing hub was used and tested on a wing sprint car. After rigorous testing for safety and compliance the hub was given the green light and was installed onto the race car. The lighter wheel was able to perform exponentially better than the standard approved hubs due to the reduction of rotational weight.

How We Do IT. Aluminastic has the ability to add a variety of natural elements into aluminum. For example: Carbon addition will make aluminum harder, lower its viscosity and improve the shine and finish. Adding silicon makes the aluminum more resistant to wear and tear. These elements can be added alone or in combination to achieve our customers desired properties. We use a patented process and proprietary equipment.

The Path to Standardization. To address industry concerns that there is no standard designation for Aluminastic materials we are working with Dr. Botte Russ Professor, Director of Center for Electrochemical Engineering. On March25, 2014, we were able to confirm that Dr. Botte has agreed to work with Aluminastic to write certifications and mathematical proofs for us. We will then collectively propose to NIST, ASTM and the ALMMII for recognition of the Aluminastic Process Technology standards.
