Our '59 Flying Cloud. Tuesday, August 18, 2009. Oh, boy. Do I have a lot to tell you about. And next, one picture from the maiden trip to the beautiful Washington coast:. A few weeks before the 18 footer was stolen from our home, we had booked the first trip of the season. A late July trip to Grayland Beach State Park. When the 18 footer was stolen, we vowed to get another Airstream ready to camp by that trip. Since then, we've pushed hard to make that happen. Stainless steel screws to attach the vents.

Airstream Memories: Snack Attack!
http://airstreammemories.blogspot.com/2010/05/snack-attack.html
Wednesday, May 19, 2010. On a normal day in our family, everyone eats a simple breakfast and goes about their business. We don't snack, we don't eat until lunch and then the same routine for dinner. Well, for some reason, the moment we get into the truck for a trip, not 30 minutes down the road, we all are hungry! It never fails. (I personally think it is way better than everyone having to go to the bathroom! Here are the snacks I made the other day. Are you ready to dive in, yet? Taken from "Mom's Campe...

http://airstreammemories.blogspot.com/2010/05/fun-in-washington-oregon-rain.html
Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Fun in Washington, Oregon and the Rain! Here are my pictures as promised. It took a bit to get the pictures from one computer to another and then upload, all of which we don't seem to have time to do on vacation! This is the Jellystone Campground in Missoula that we stayed at. Very beautiful in the background and wonderful bathrooms! After visiting many of the falls along the Historic route, we ended up at the Multnomah Falls, the big Daddy of them all! What a beautiful sight!

Airstream Memories: Westport, Washington
http://airstreammemories.blogspot.com/2010/06/westport-washington.html
Thursday, June 17, 2010. We spent a day of our vacation on teh Westport beach and port. There is really no explanation that can describe the sight of the ocean and its vastness. Those of you that are priveledged enough to live near or on the ocean, probably take it for granted, but to see the ocean for one of the first times is quite an experience! With four kids, they could barely leave them in long enought to catch any of the, but we did get one that was a keeper! June 18, 2010 at 5:58 AM. Subscribe to...

Airstream Memories: Westward Ho! - Our first Boondock
http://airstreammemories.blogspot.com/2010/05/westward-ho-our-first-boondock.html
Friday, May 21, 2010. We achieved our first Wal-mart boondocking in Gillette, Wyoming! I know, it's well overdue, but our 1953 Clipper doesn't have a bathroom or 12-volt hook-up, so it makes a difficult time of boondocking. Last year, we didn't have the 1963, quite up to par for it yet, so we never attempted a Wal-mart stay. We were very excited to stay in a Wal-mart parking lot (I know it sounds sort of sick, but hey, to a 3 and 5 year old, staying at Wal-mart is gold! May 22, 2010 at 7:22 AM. We like t...

Our '59 Flying Cloud: May 2009
http://59flyingcloud.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Our '59 Flying Cloud. Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Let the polishing begin! Hi, could you pass a chocolate donut and juice box, please? I must be crazy to start a polishing project now! Polishing a trailer takes many many dozens of hours. At a time in the project when we need to see some rapid action, I choose to polish. What am I thinking? I justify my decision to polish by looking at the two tone colors from our panel replacement. Emmett came down to help. He loves his 'Bapa' and can't be more than a few...
