Nuggets: Why We Homeschool and Why You Shouldn't
http://sophapilla.blogspot.com/2014/11/why-we-homeschool-and-why-you-shouldnt.html
Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Why We Homeschool and Why You Shouldn't. Over the past couple of years, God has been teaching me this thing about the vast importance of being real. Honest. Even in my ugliness. So here it is: the real truth is that I have spent many years believing that homeschooling is for those who are fearful. Noah getting in a swing on Alan's arm. Self portraits in the tent. And a true taste ...

Joy in the Journey . . .: January 2013
http://jasonandnicole.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 01, 2013. While in Brisbane, my brave girl had her first official dentist's visit and professional cleaning. Ella tends to be a little reserved and can be slow to warm in new situations, so I wasn't sure how this visit would go over. I am so proud of her. She showed no hesitation or fear whatsoever! Why visit a dentist on your Christmas holiday to another state? Well, that's what you do when one of your best friends happens to be an excellent dentist! Better the one you know, right?

Monday, October 03, 2011. Before a little boy turns TWO soon, I wanted to post about a little girl turning THREE a few months ago. Ella developed a liking for Hello Kitty during our time in the US so that was her cake choice this year. I really enjoy making cakes for my kids. It's a good memory I have from my childhood and a tradition I'm happy to pass on. I'm not a particularly crafty person, but I can usually make a cake that resembles something! Sam does an amazing job on the cake each year. Keeping i...
