Chronicling my journey as I train for a half marathon. The weather this week: A. With the amazing weather this week, I was able to get in four outdoor runs. It is so much easier to run when not dealing with all the gear to make sure my hands/toes/ears don’t freeze off! I am still waiting until I can run three miles without any difficulty! Chronicling my journey as I train for a half marathon. I happen to suffer from severe allergies and so it makes being around pollen extremely challenging to say the least! And even though I can’t run, I have still been trying to eat healthy. I recently found out about a lunch spot called Protein Bar right near GW. They have really great smoothies and have all sorts of options for people with dietary needs such as a selection almond, soy and coconut milk! You can check out their menu here. April 13, 2014.
