In the beginning this was started to track happenings, actions, feelings and reactions to a diagnosis of non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Some technical detail as well as personal reaction is included. Friday, 12 September 2008. One of the side effects of my chemotherapy is banding on my nails. I am not sure quite what the reason for this is, but is likely to do with the effects of the chemo agents on fast turnover cells. As these bands have grown out, I have noticed that the nails are much weaker at the banding.

Friday, 8 August 2008. The beard is back. As the chemotherapy devastated my beard very quickly, I am glad to have my beard back! Thankfully, within 6 weeks of the last chemo sessions, all hair started to grow back and boy did it. It has come back stronger and even darker! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
