Hope for a lost generation. Sunday, July 25, 2010. Now for the update on Nicaragua! Life at the orphanage was crazy like usual (how can it not be with 35 children living there fulltime and 61 children in the daytime) but I cannot imagine spending my summer any other way! I still feel so blessed to have the opportunity to live alongside these kids and see some of them grow up over the past six years (I feel like a proud mom :). This summer, I was able to love on the little babies a lot!

Saturday, February 13, 2010. Ellie 3 months and SNOW! Ellie turned 3 months on Thursday! My mom says I started around 3 1/2 months! Below are some pictures of Ellie at our house and my parent's. The snow started around 1:00 pm on Friday and by the time I got to my parent's to pick up Ellie, the roads were already getting bad to drive on. Esteban insisted Ellie and I spend the night and not get out on the roads. My family's new puppy, Riley, LOVES being outside and LOVES the snow! Italian side coming out.
