Tuesday, January 14, 2014. That was a long break from blogging. This will be a quick post but I wanted to do one and get back in the habit. Every time I look at my kids I realize I'm going to forget these things one day. I need to write them down. I was trying on clothes with Dex the other day and I heard "you wook booful in dat shut Mom" first my heart melted. Then I thought, I never want to forget this moment. So, I'm back to blogging. Thursday, March 6, 2014. I think it's official. This kid (28 months later) is potty trained. Day trained anyway. We started Sunday(only 5 days ago! With a strict no pants, at home training. We had a potty chair in the living room and one in the kitchen. M&M's for treats and a crazy potty dance. Now he is just peeing every 5 minutes so he can have candy. Whatever. He's so dang cute. Sunday, July 22, 2012. Violet has figured out that if she makes Dexter cry, I will come running. Plus, I think she is really having a hard time with the sharing concept. As soon as he gets anything she takes it away and and says it's hers. Which is partly true because all the baby toys in the house were hers first. Sigh. Hopefully she gets through this phase soon. Paul took me to the Black Sheep Cafe last night for our anniversary. I can't wait to go back. The food is excellent! Dex in the stroller.
