Corey, Sylvia, Connor. Created on 15 October 2008. Last Updated on 23 February 2014. Written by Steven Kuck. I started taking a silver fabrication class at Amalgam Arts Atlanta. Not silver, but this was just to get used to bending and shaping the wire. Of course she loves it, she has to, but she claims to have gotten a few compliments that just swell me up with pride. But silver would work well with star sapphire. Powered By T3 Framework.

Overheard at Citi Kroger. There are other ways to get home! You shouldn't have gotten in that car, now you might be considered a suspect! Those who are familiar with the Citi Kroger will not be surprised by that statement. Robert and I kind of gave each other this *look* when we heard it. So, that wasn't art related at all, but it was too funny/weird to pass up. There's a new face for today's GPP! I love this photo of him, partly because he's got a backpack! Posted in: Random Things. A Torching Good Story!: October 2008
http://fourtailslampwork.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2008. I didn't make many Halloween-themed beads this year- a few spiders and candy corn, but that was it. However, many other beadmakers did, including some of the amazingly talented Southern Flames beadmakers. You can see their work here, at Flame Tree Glass's Halloween Contest page. There's information on the main pane, and on the left there are two .pdf files with pictures of the entries. All I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW! Some of my favorites: The Trick or Treaters, by Marcy Lamberson.

I'm so happy you're here! My name's Sophia, and I like to make things. Moldable plastic is awesome. September 5, 2014. Last week or so I posted this picture to Instagram. As is my habit lately, I’d dismantled a ring I bought in the student union in college and wanted to reset the stones. I’ve never set princess-cut stones before, but hey, now’s as good a time as any! I got really, really tired of breaking off earring posts. It’s wasteful and frustrating, especially when the stone is all but set! Another ...

Second Silver Project

Corey, Sylvia, Connor. Created on 09 November 2008. Last Updated on 23 February 2014. Written by Steven Kuck. The second silver project I did at Amalgam Arts Atlanta. Was a bezel set pendant. I did not get all the pieces in time to attempt the spider pendant and I figured it wouldn't hurt to start with something fairly simple. This is a piece of labradorite. Sure, but you have to be careful because you are using silver solder on a piece of silver that already has two other solder joins!
