His poems are just so honest and simple. This poem is about his writer's block, something that frequently plagued him. It's really funny and ironic- the man needs a hat, and there are a bunch in front of him, but he can't reach any of them. I was really impressed with how the moment was captured, and it's quite funny because loosing papers in the wind is something that can happen to a lot of people. I'm not too fond of Cindy...

Thursday, May 7, 2009. Cui Xiuwen Cindy Sherman Frida Khalo. All of these artists try to portray women for their natural beauty. Sherman takes her stills in everyday settings while Cui Xiuwen's stills are all photoshopped in a "fantasy" setting. Frida Khalo's self portraits are all about true self and beauty.
