Thursday, March 31, 2011. April 30th I will be participating in my first March of Dimes walk in Abilene! I am so excited and so very humbled to be a part of this amazing foundation! For who you ask? The answer is simple! This sweet, sweet face! You see, this is my precious niece Emmalyn Kae! She is a miracle straight from God! She decided she needed to jump into this world 10 weeks early and surprise us all! It was a surprise infact! She is amazing and growing so much and I'm so honored to be her AUNT!

A friend of mine is doing this challenge, so I decided to follow along! Monday, June 20, 2011. A Great Day to Make a Baby! Well, today was an excellent day! We headed off to Lubbock around 11:15 or so, and stopped through McDonalds and grabbed lunch. J and I chatted all the way about his new worktruck, work, my mom's 60th birthday party and various things. So there isn't alot going on here this weekend! Temi and Jake came into town so as usual Rylen had fun playing with her Aunt Temi! I guess I jinxed myself by anouncing to everyone that Rylen was doing so well coming off of the bottle. These past few nights have been torture! But this to shall pass and my mom keeps reminding me how easy of a baby she was and that if this is the hardest thing we have to deal with we will come out of this on top! Back to the grind.but with a happy heart! Well I have been on vacation the past 10 days! It has been absolutely wonderful! I wanted to be able to take off for Rylen's birthday but it turned out I had vacation time I needed to take so I got a whole 10 whopping days off! Tomorrow I go back to work which is a little bitter sweet. I love love my job but I got a little taste of stay at home Mommy and I really liked it too! Proposed Texas Budget Demolishes Statewide Library Programs. I have never been one to get to serious about politics. It has always been one of those things where I keep up with all that is going on but don't dive in deep or carry on long conversations about it with political people. We cannot stand for this. We have to speak out on this issue. This is not just our funding that is in danger it is the understanding of libraries and the role they play in our children's education.
