Friday, February 20, 2015. President's Day at the Zoo. It was busier than usual in the zoo too, but mostly manageable. Though I did lose Vivian a few times while trying to manage all of the kids and conversation and crowds. Yes, classic me, but we did find her quickly. (Sorry to scare you G&G! Saturday, June 21, 2014. Life was just a *bit* crazy for them as their move date came close. With a relative newborn (Max is four months) and an active toddler (Tucker is two-and-a-half), packing was a big task, let alone on never-enough-sleep. I did spend the first five hours of my day in the back yard. pulling weeds, trimming bushes, cutting down trees. But now my arms are scraped and puffy, my eyes are swollen, I can't hear out of my left ear, and I can't breathe out of my nose. I'm house-bound by my allergies. I love. On to third grade. He reports every day about some impressive feat, opportunity, or skill his friends have bragged about. For instance, one friend "saw a helicopter blow up in the sky," while another friend "got a special tour of SeaWorld and got to swim with the orcas." The latest? That kid wins.
