Aardema Family Blog: May 2010
http://aardemafamblog.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 13, 2010. Our neighbors to the back have a few mules and they have become very good friends to my boys. Tommy found this rickety old ladder in the shed and he leaned it up against the fence last summer so the boys could feed carrots to the mules. It has remained there ever since! During the summer the boys picked carrots from the garden and fed them to Brutus (pictured above) and in the winter they'd steel carrots from the fridge and do the same! I truly am livin' the dream. Thursday, August 5, 2010. Where did July go? The month of July has obviously gotten away from me without one single post so I decided to give a little summary of our crazy doings! Tommy was busy going to school at Utah State University for the majority of the month of July so the little time we had together was jam packed with fun! It might seem strange, but it's tradition! Our kids absolutely love this holiday! I think more holidays should involve sparklers! They just loved hiking and exploring this bea...

Random thoughts from a random girl. The best part of waking up…. December 8, 2009 in nature. Is not Folgers in my cup. It is watching the sunrise over Mt. Hood. Absolutely perfect in every possible way. Every morning is dramatically different in its shades of blue and pink and orange and purple mountains majesty. Ps: I don’t recommend taking pictures on your phone while driving. It can be tricky and not to mention dangerous. All in the Family. Conversations With a Cupcake. I’d Knit That. You are commenti...

Random thoughts from a random girl. September 3, 2009 in journal. Ut of all of the places in the world, they chose to come to Twin Falls, Idaho? This place is practically a desert. Have its charms. The Snake River Canyon is breathtaking with all of the little waterfalls, and it is the place where Evel Knievel. It was a good ride. All in the Family. Conversations With a Cupcake. Monday, June 28, 2010. Here is my baby, my 7 YEAR OLD baby! Can you believe it! He is practically a man (minus the chest hair)! Benson had such a wonderful birthday this year. We had a few different parties with family and friends and Benson was surrounded by the people who love him. Grandma is responsible for this "toy"! He requested a nerf gun and this is what appeared! Armed with his new gun and bat man sunglasses, Benson is sure to lead the troop of neighborhood boys this summer! Gettin' the job done.

Random thoughts from a random girl. September 2, 2009 in jordan. When Jordan came back to Rexburg from his small stint with iCooper last winter, I said that I would never be apart from him for that long ever again. And yet, here I am apart from him again for about a month. Ugh. And I’m suffering from withdrawals. All in the Family. Conversations With a Cupcake. Heather Bailey’s Crafty Blog. I’d Knit That. Aardema Family Blog: Long time, no post.
http://aardemafamblog.blogspot.com/2013/02/free-frosty.html
Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Long time, no post. Let's start where we left off, FALL! Apparently we are good at growing boys and large squash, who knew! I think the grand total was something ridiculous like 28 pumpkins. Not a single red tomato this year but 28 pumpkins! The boys were thrilled and it was really fun to line them all up and gaze upon our produce with great pride. Carving was not quite as enjoyable but we did our duties. Yep, I claimed those instantly. Tanner man got glasses! June 30, 2001.

Aardema Family Blog: September Color
http://aardemafamblog.blogspot.com/2012/09/september-color.html
Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Every fall we try to take several drives to the nearby canyons to enjoy this gift with our boys. We pick a few spots to stop, get out of the car and just wander for a while. Last night was our first journey into the colored hills and it was one to remember. It all felt like a dream. We love it as much as they do, how could we not. Sheesh, pictures just don't ever do justice do they. We wandered back into this amazing grove where the ferns along the ground had yellowed, ...
