Photographic musings and random crafty thoughts. Saturday, January 23, 2010. Raise Your Hand If You Saw This One Coming. Oh, that would be the one where you knew there was NO way I would ever be able to take a picture EVERY day, without fail, for one year. Three days in and I missed not one, but two days. Oh well, when you fall down you have to get back up, right? So, tomorrow, I'm back on the photo wagon. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Atlanta, Georgia, United States. View my complete profile.

Today is January 25th and it's been since January 1st since I last posted. To make matters worse, I have no real excuse. I have time to update Facebook and read email but for some reason I can't make time to update this blog. Sad, really. The only thing I've been knitting is socks and if I'd knit a complete pair. Photographic musings and random crafty thoughts. Monday, February 02, 2009. Progress Report - Month One. For my iPhone. I use it to track EVERYTHING that goes into my mouth as well as my exercise and daily weigh ins. Since my iPhone is virtually attached to me like a body part, it's easy to remember to log my intake. The good thing is that there has been some weight loss! 3 inches from my chest (bummer), 2 from my waist (yeah) and one from each of my thighs. I can finally start to see a difference!

Photographic musings and random crafty thoughts. Saturday, January 12, 2013. So I officially have a "Tween" in my house. The Punk turned 12 this week and last night we hosted 10 (holy-cow-what-was-I-thinking) girls for a movie themed party. We had pizza and soda and buttered popcorn in cute little popcorn boxes. But the highlight of the night was the "buttered popcorn" cupcakes. They are so yummy! Each bite is like getting a little cupcake and a little marshmallow Peep. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Photographic musings and random crafty thoughts. Thursday, January 28, 2010. Taking a photo a day can be quite the challenge. Like with most things, life kind of gets in the way. One of the Daily Shoot challenges (can't remember what number challenge it was) was to take a self-portrait. Ta-da! I would have attempted a more traditional self-portrait, but on this day I had only made it to wardrobe and not to hair and make-up. Some days are like that, you know. Each country has a classroom and the classroom...

As if that weren't enough, I posted a pic to Facebook of a pair of fingerless gloves I knitted for the Punk. Next thing I know, I have orders for 20 (! Hello extra Christmas money! Photographic musings and random crafty thoughts. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. On an Afghan Kick. I've been on an afghan making kick lately. Here are some of my latest exploits:. A sweet pink crochet afghan for baby Reese. The Lion Brand "Sunshine Day" afghan. I made two of these - one for a baby gift for someone who works with my aunt and one for me. I currently have another one (different color way) on the needles now. It's a great way to use up leftover yarn from other projects. View my complete profile.

http://onecraftychick.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Photographic musings and random crafty thoughts. Tuesday, August 26, 2008. So, I had some cotton yarn in my stash, but not enough of any one color to make a sweater. And since I'm not that found of a " Coat of Many Colors. For myself; I wondered what I should make with said cotton yarn. . The pink/orange/white one is totally random and made from scraps. The pink and black one gets me in touch with my "Diva/Princess" self. The pink camo one gets me in touch with my "Redneck Princess" self. (HA! It's perfe...
