A BMET's Blog: My Journey Part 2
http://mgjonesbmet.blogspot.com/2009/08/my-journey-part-2.html
Monday, August 3, 2009. My Journey Part 2. I returned to the San Francisco Bay Area to serve two more years at Oakland and two years at a medical clinic in Concord. These places did not provide me much of an opportunity to grow professionally as I had at Oakland Naval Hospital. It was then that I realized how crucial it is to stay current and to maximize training opportunities. Matthew G. Jones. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Matthew G. Jones. View my complete profile. A BMET's Blog: Afraid to Fail?
http://mgjonesbmet.blogspot.com/2009/08/afraid-to-fail.html
Sunday, August 9, 2009. Failure is something I have always dreaded. I do not enjoy the humility that comes with failing and having to have my shortcomings on display for all to see. She goes on to say: “On the most basic level, all learning comes from failure.”. How can I expect to learn new things if I do not set aside my fear of failure and just jump in to it? A BMET's Blog: Why Do I Need a Personal Brand?
http://mgjonesbmet.blogspot.com/2009/08/why-do-i-need-personal-brand.html
Thursday, August 6, 2009. Why Do I Need a Personal Brand? I had not heard about personal branding, much less its importance, before I read Dan Schawbel’s book, Me 2.0. In it I learned personal branding is “about unearthing what is true and unique about you and letting everyone one know about it” (page 1). I had never thought of myself on those terms before.
