The Ups and Downs: March 2010
http://jandadowns.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The Ups and Downs. Sunday, March 21, 2010. We went to the fair this week. I was asked to judge the cakes and baked goods part of the 4-H entries. It was fun, and I had to keep telling myself that these are kids, not pastry chefs. Addison learned a few new words, chicken, sheep, goat, duck. I love to hear all the new things she has to say. I am also officially mommy, not mama. I loved the crazy hair when she took off her hat. She carried the bear around for 2 days, I'm not really sure why. I Have a JOB!

The Richard and Amy Brooksby Family. Wednesday, February 6, 2013. To What Have We Been Up? You Asked, We Answer:. Playing in the Backyard. Wendell is holding two slugs. He was cracking up, pretending to kiss them. He and Isabelle both love bugs and exploring. Isabelle and I had talked about her getting a haircut for a few months. When the time finally came, she wasn't in the mood and wanted to keep playing. I enticed her when I offered to let her wear some makeup! She was super excited after that.

The Ups and Downs: Gardening
http://jandadowns.blogspot.com/2011/07/gardening.html
The Ups and Downs. Monday, July 25, 2011. This summer I have been taking care off my mom's flowers. She has been gone and I don't have a cool setup like she does. Well, in the front I planted some morning glory because I love the flower they give. I love you dad. I had serious flashbacks after reading this. I remembered field #2 and how it would sometimes take us 1 weeks just to get through the one field. July 26, 2011 at 9:48 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Mom and Dad Pics.

I am excited for this, but trying not to think too much about it. Life is simple and to an outsider probably boring around here, but we...
