Badger Lines: December 2004
http://badgerlines.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
The life and loves of a 'he' Badger. Friday, December 31, 2004. Having written this, me thinks the post is too long but as I've gone to all the trouble of writting it you are just going to have to read it! Evening out with Val and Doug (and Matthew joining us later) touring the pubs of Bagshot and Camberley in search of those hidden gems destined for the Good Beer Guide. The Cambridge, nowadays masquerading as RSVP was followed by the CAD Club, where the Spitfire sampled on my previous visit has been ous...

The life and loves of a 'he' Badger. Wednesday, April 27, 2005. Oh MyGod I'm a Lib Dem! Below is an on-line quiz designed to establish who you ought to vote for. Beforehand I would have expected the order to be Green, Labour, Lib Dems, Tories, UKIP, so there you go. Who should I vote for? UK Independence Party -8. You should vote: Liberal Democrat. Badger Lines: Gosport and Fareham Easter Folk Festival
http://badgerlines.blogspot.com/2005/03/gosport-and-fareham-easter-folk.html
The life and loves of a 'he' Badger. Wednesday, March 30, 2005. Gosport and Fareham Easter Folk Festival. Easter so that means Gosport and Fareham Folk Festival. This was our 4th year there and it remains one of the highlights. 5 days of music and there always seems to be headliners we are particularly keen on; of course it helps that Show of Hands have played every year and this year the Oysterband were also playing. Saturday was similar but totally different! Val was feeling a bit tired so we retreated...

Badger Lines: Northern Premier League
http://badgerlines.blogspot.com/2005/05/northern-premier-league.html
The life and loves of a 'he' Badger. Friday, May 06, 2005. These are the sort of shenanigans that always amuse me. I'm sure most people are well up with what has been happening over the last week in the Northern Premier League, but just in case you're not a quick resume. Spennymoor United failed to fulfill there fixtures after about 30 matches. Therefore the Unibond (Northern Premier) League expunged (! Opposing team who hadn't played Spennymoor (easy 3 points? Hope that's all clear.and don't even ge...

Badger Lines: Greensand Way Training
http://badgerlines.blogspot.com/2005/04/greensand-way-training.html
The life and loves of a 'he' Badger. Saturday, April 09, 2005. Done two days walking along the Greensand Way over the past 8 days; at this rate will soon have caught up with where I am on the North Downs Way, but I guess as I get progressively further away from home it won’t be quite as convenient. Hope to sort out a weekend or two in Kent over the next month or two as well. A week later I was back again, this time on my own as Val was still feeling a bit delicate after her minor op the day before, so sh...

Badger Lines: Kipford - More on my hols
http://badgerlines.blogspot.com/2005/05/kipford-more-on-my-hols.html
The life and loves of a 'he' Badger. Saturday, May 07, 2005. Kipford - More on my hols. We booked 2 nights at a Bed and Breakfast in Kipford and what an idyllic place, which being midweek, slightly out of season we had to ourselves. Breakfast was a similarly wonderful experience and took for ever, as we had the same view one floor down as the landlady said, you look totally relaxed. It was just that type of place. Take my advice,go to Roughfirth House. Before everyone else discovers it. How Will I Vote?

Badger Lines: Steve Kniightley & Martyn Joseph, Town Hall High Wycombe
http://badgerlines.blogspot.com/2005/03/steve-kniightley-martyn-joseph-town.html
The life and loves of a 'he' Badger. Friday, March 25, 2005. Steve Kniightley and Martyn Joseph, Town Hall High Wycombe. Our first visit to the Town Hall, High Wycombe on Wednesday started off in the only GBG pub in town, the Bell. Decent beer, but 2.80 for a pint of Fullers London Porter in a tied house! Perhaps this was due in part to cube of a venue, which didn't really lend itself to the intimate surrounds that show Steve and Martyn at their best. Steve was definitely suffering with his voice. Ho...
