September 15, 2009. And Then I Said…. Posted by amblyopia under jetsam. Welcome back to “Cooking The Books”! Tonight, we are going to show you how to cook one of my favourites… Suspense Soup! This wonderful soup should be served with a side of chilled revenge. You can heat the revenge up, but it really is best served cold. The flavours will have you guessing til the very last mouthful! After the break, We’ll show you how to use all those frozen leftovers in a delicious Post-Modern Casserole. Due to these...

October 19, 2010. Posted by amblyopia under jetsam. In the inky black depths of the sea, further down than light can penetrate, lives a unicorn. And a dragon. And Elvis. It’s totally true, and nobody can prove otherwise. Ha, ha! Take that, science! I went there the other day, and asked Elvis all the important things, like the meaning of life, and why he liked peanut butter so much, and he said “Bubble, bubble, bubble, gurgley sound, bubble! February 19, 2011. Eighty seven, eighty seven…. Posted by amblyopia under Uncategorized. Time waits for no man. Well, not anymore. Time used to wait for a guy that lived in Paris during the devastating pig plague of 1833, but that guy procrastinated way too much, so Time made a policy not to wait for any other man after that. Way to ruin it for everyone else, Parisian guy from 1833. Many hands make light work. Especially if you live in a world where the switches are absolutely enormous!

August 4, 2009. Posted by amblyopia under jetsam. Someone once told me that if you concentrate hard enough, you can change the colour of your eyes. I tried it once, but only managed to change the colour of my pants. My recommendation here is don’t strain too much when you concentrate. Richard Wiseman's Blog. Blog at WordPress.com. It mightn’t always make sense. Away from the sunshine. Today has been a long day. Plenty of procrastination (oh what a clean bedroom I have! Eating, exercise, and a fair amount of internet trawling. So, it looks like the Ann Arbor. Will be following in the footsteps of Seattle’s Post-Intellegencer, and only publishing online, and there are others – Blender. Will now only be found online, and Maxim will be amalgamating its online and print versions. Nelson Yee has also written an interesting blog post.
The last week.. | Bloblet
https://word794.wordpress.com/2009/05/21/the-last-week
It mightn’t always make sense. I’ve just been doing the readings for week 12. I know the first reading, the ‘Day In The Life’ was written in 2006 and based on a 2005 study, but it seems rather obvious to me. I’m not sure if that’s how much the web has infiltrated our lives in the last 3 years, but none of the information presented in this report was really surprising. Have I actually received subliminal messages that have affected my purchases? I don’t know. But I don’t think so. And Clyde the Penguin.

It mightn’t always make sense. Sometimes I have a look at the HTML viewer for this site, just to see if I can figure the HTML out, but it’s really beyond me at this stage. Must do some more research! In terms of error messages – gee they bug me! Some sites don’t even have error messages – they just keep taking you back to the screen where you’ve made an error, and making you guess to see what you’ve done wrong. Jakob Nielsen’s Alertbox. There’re also a couple of funny examples on this blog. Search engine...

It mightn’t always make sense. On this page, I’m going to track how my group has been going with our website – Chock-a-Block. Since I’m writing now, in May, I’m going to have to go back and re-cap everything that we’ve been over. Starting at the start. On March 12, so right at the start of everything (oh it feels like such a long time since then! Around March 24/25 the group as a whole decided that this might be a bit difficult, given that we’re all in Melbourne, and not overseas at the moment....We all ...

It mightn’t always make sense. A chain is only as strong as its. I think this saying is quite apt in light of the readings for this week. If the links on your page are either weak or non-existent, then the chain of communication (or web, as Rosen puts it) will be broken. Weak links (like those that direct you to pages that aren’t there, or types of files that won’t load) are severely detrimental to your web page, effectively rendering your page the weak link in the chain of communication. A new study has...
Easy as ABC | Bloblet

It mightn’t always make sense. Ominously, however, the ABC seem to be feeling that it may be necessary to start charging for content or make certain areas of their digital information password-only, and I agree with Knight when he implores the ABC to expand rather than contract its public offerings online. Otherwise the ABC’s ethos of being a publically owned channel is negated and their credibility is called into question. Gatewatching is evidently the way that the news world operates at the moment....

It mightn’t always make sense. This is a discussion of the blog that I’ve been watching, which is grammarblog.co.uk. It mightn’t always make sense. I don’t claim to be an expert blogger. In fact, I’d probably go so far as to say that I’m a novice, but that learning to use this crazy thing we call a blog has been enlightening, and a lot of fun. I also study at Melbourne University, and this is my assessment for a digital media class. Fingers crossed! Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.
