American in Perth: August 2010

http://americaninperth.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

This summer my husband and I will be emigrating to Perth, Australia. This blog will chronicle our adventures. Wednesday, August 18, 2010. I e-mailed a resume on one position and got a call within 20 minutes. Apparently the job market is a bit more robust here than back in Florida. I even found a store that stocks Dr. Bronner's liquid soap! It was really good, but serio...

I'll tell you how! Two in a row! And the "what is taking so long? By now you may ...

An American in Powys

An American in Powys. Thursday, 9 May 2013. Is there life without car? Having recently given up my car after more than 10 years of ownership, I've been mulling over why I already feel so different. Is it because I'm looking forward so spending hundreds of pounds less on transport than I did last year? Or because my carbon footprint is suddenly looking so dainty?
