Scrap, Paper, Scissors: enjoy the little things
http://scrappaperscissors.blogspot.com/2015/05/enjoy-little-things.html
Wednesday, 20 May 2015. Enjoy the little things. Using kaisercraft shine bright for this layout. I used the bumblebee 12x12 sheet as my background with a sheet of dark grey card stock. I painted some of the accetate with distress paint, but be aware the paint has effected some of the script, which I only realised when it was dry. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sunday, 3 November 2013. Scrapology November Challenge.lifting Michelle Logan. This month over at Scrapology. We are lifting the work of the very talented Michelle Logan. I really enjoyed playing along, but I am not a fan of too much *white space* so used patterned paper and also added extras to it here and there to fill in the blanks lol. The photo is of our youngest, taken when she was aged 6 on a visit to the beautiful Michelham Priory down here in East Sussex. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Places that ...

Crafty Educator: January 2012
http://craftyeducator.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Friday, 20 January 2012. Birthday and Thank you Cards. I thought you might like to see a couple of cards I've made recently. This is a birthday card I've made for my sister-in-law's husband - I do find men so difficult to make cards for but I'm pleased with this one. I've used Joanna Sheen's Jane Shasky CD which is absolutely beautiful. There are so many lovely pages that I shall certainly be making many more cards with this CD. A close-up of the decoupage. Fictional fantasies and ordinary adventures. Where Emily Is…. When I think of something to say…. Planting Seeds →. Buscuits and Mouthy Poets. 12 May, 2012. I think I read somewhere that Angela Carter would bake instead of facing an upcoming deadline, and although there are no publishers breathing down my neck (the lack of which needs to be rectified), nonetheless, my housemate Matt obliged and gave me his dad’s marvelous recipe for cinnamon biscuits. They did not last long. Planting Seeds →. Fill in your...

Linda's Cards and Pages: Golden Anniversary.
http://lindascards.blogspot.com/2015/08/golden-anniversary.html
Thursday, 6 August 2015. The next request was for a 50th Anniversary card and I was given a copy of their wedding photograph. The base is again an 8x8" card covered with cream bazzill the layered with gold mirri and more cream bazzill, the top layer I pricked around the edge too. The colours of the wedding were cream and lemon so I made a bow (Sue Wilson die) and some Roses (die-cut from another Sue Wilson set). These were layered with lots of fronds cut with cream and gold. Thanks for taking a look.
