I saw some fireworks… | a month later
https://amonthlater.wordpress.com/2011/10/11/i-saw-some-fireworks
I saw some fireworks…. October 11, 2011. Last weekend was the 2011 incarnation of the annual Seoul International Fireworks Festival. It was a 90 minute show performed by three national teams (Korea, Portugal, Japan). Danielle and I found a nice vantage point to take in the festivities. Overall, it was an impressive performance. Lots of ooohs and aaahs from the spectators. Here are some photos from the night…enjoy! This slideshow requires JavaScript. Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Post was not s...

A day in Yeouido. October 29, 2011. The 63 Building is a Seoul landmark. When it was built, the skyscraper was the tallest building in South Korea and the tallest outside of North America. Those distinctions are long gone, but the 63 Building remains an icon. The tower is quite recognizable due to its golden exterior. Although that color does not come through in this photograph, the building serves as a nice backdrop for a peaceful day on the Han River. Share on Facebook (Opens in new window). Danielle a...

Poems, stories, musings, rants…and any number of other things. On February 17, 2010 by davefranciszek. The light was fading, in his ride. Another love song played in tune;. 8220;I will always be by your side”. And out ahead, he saw the moon. The night had fallen, dark and wild,. As if it’s always been that way. It came to him and now he smiled,. Always knowing he would stay. On February 11, 2010 by davefranciszek. Never meant to burn those bridges;. Always planned on coming back. A game for two, interrup...

A Month In New Hampshire. Breaking Bad Fan Fiction and Art. Walter White’s Time in Solitude. September 26, 2013. Now that arguably the greatest television drama of all time has come to an end, fans are left wanting more. I found myself scouring forums, blogs and Twitter feeds trying to feed my craving for more and more Breaking Bad, Walter White and Jesse Pinkman. What makes these guys tick? What is their back story? What made Walter White give up on greatness initially? What did he do for money?

amonthofgratitude | A great WordPress.com site
A great WordPress.com site. May 4, 2012. In the end if comes down to the money, for me. So I have to be grateful that we can do this, and believe that we can keep doing it. There’s a reason she’s been drawn to it since she was 8. I feel better having written all of that. I trust the laws of the universe to continue supporting us and guiding me at all times toward the means to this horsey end. Every dollar I spend enriches the economy, blesses everyone it touches, and returns to me multiplied. May 3, 2012.
