Tuesday, exactly two weeks ago today, I got a call while at work that had me leaving immediately due to a family emergency–a traumatic injury with a traumatic scenario (but, aren’t they always? The urgent situation awaiting me was stabilized, jumped back into the car, and continued my journey. After some musical cars and returning from the urgent care a few hours later, the first thing I noticed was my completely flat tire.
