While we did not have as many family members as in the past, we still had quite a few there, and it's always fun to be together too. Only three sisters and both brothers were missing. I guess that sounds like a lot, it's half, but since there are quite a few of us, there were still a bunch of us there. The kids at camp also had a lot of fun with a big wooden spool they found many uses for.

I joked that it was a magic dress because it had fit Kate perfectly and now it fit Jillian really perfectly. Thursday, May 13, 2010. Our neighbors to the back have a few mules and they have become very good friends to my boys. Tommy found this rickety old ladder in the shed and he leaned it up against the fence last summer so the boys could feed carrots to the mules. It has remained there ever since! During the summer the boys picked carrots from the garden and fed them to Brutus (pictured above) and in the winter they'd steel carrots from the fridge and do the same! I truly am livin' the dream.
