Thursday, July 21, 2011. We love the summer! We both decided the heat really isn't that bad and I think Spence is becoming a true desert rat! We spend all our time in air conditioned gyms, offices, homes, stores and cars so it is totally manageable. If we have to be outside, we try to be in the pool or shade! Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Ryan and I were able to help with Special Olympics last week. It was an amazing and special experience! Ryan and I went on a very typical fun date: dinner and a movie! We loved this movie for many reasons! 1 It was a clean, family friendly movie. 2 It was filmed in Hawaii! 3 It had good actors and actresses. Thursday, November 17, 2011. I'm all grown up. Last weekend I was in charge of putting on an activity after stake temple day. Since when am I even old enough to do such a thing? I have a stake calling as a member of the stake activities committee. Didn't even know such a calling exists. Well, it does. While we really missed our family in Utah and Arizona, we had a wonderful time spending the holiday with our "dental family" here in San Fran. Saturday, November 5, 2011. The family came to town. We did lots of shopping, eating out, sightseeing, and more shopping. Despite all of Jordan's studying and school work, he was still able to spend some time with us. Its always so fun to show family our fun little life here. I just wish they could have stayed longer!
