Each day is a small excerpt from a variety of his major works; Mere Christianity, Screwtape Letters, The Problem of Pain, A Grief Observed, Surprised by Joy. Friday, September 28, 2012. Fresh take on Fall. There is nothing like the changing of seasons to inspire changes in our home decor. Fall just begs for us to "cozy up" the house, and fill it with warm colors and sweet smells. We've had a bit of fun around here switching out displays and showcasing new product. For a fresh take on fall we went bold with dark blue walls, accented with white, gray and just a few touches of gold, for a more typical fall hue. So fun! Photos by Amy Ruth. Monday, July 18, 2011. Here are my summer. Book picks for all you avid readers. While I was a little late in beginning my summer reading I started off the tradition with two fantastic and extremely quick (which, when they're as good as this means way too quick) reads. The first one I picked up was my lovely, green Penguin edition of Elizabeth Gaskell's Cranford. I recommend this book to anyone who has enjoyed Jane Austen.
