http://aerinlissar.blogspot.com/2015/05/glorious-trip-and-today-ouch.html
Food, kids, thoughts, books, homeschooling. Wednesday, May 06, 2015. Glorious trip. And today, ouch. The power of Nathaniel squared. It went very well aside from squabbling among children, i.e Thomas randomly punching Nate because he isn't used to having to share his brother with anyone. Anna-Liza, Nate's mum. We happened to get there around feeding time, so we got to see the penguins and the cheetahs being fed. That was really cool. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am a youngish (is thirty youngish?

Food, kids, thoughts, books, homeschooling. Friday, May 15, 2015. Haven't blogged in a week. Because I have been furiously working- okay, Geoff. It's very hard to get my head around that. Also I get to design a kitchen. I am so excited about that I can't tell you. Wow. Oh, and today I took the kids to the ROM. Obligatory cute shots below. Yesterday at the park. Nat got to pull everyone in the cart. And then Elizabeth took over. Isn't Mim's outfit terrific? She's like Revenge of the Loud Patterns. DOCUMEN...

Lissla Lissar's blog: I mopped the floor
http://aerinlissar.blogspot.com/2015/05/i-mopped-floor.html
Food, kids, thoughts, books, homeschooling. Saturday, May 09, 2015. I mopped the floor. It's not even nine, and I mopped the floor. I am so impressed with myself. Okay, I mopped the kitchen. Okay, I mopped the kitchen because the children have been outside every day, in the yard, and two or three times have had mud fights, which they have tracked into the house. The back door is through the kitchen. But I had help! This is really cute! Alison Norman @ Power Boss. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). What ...

Lissla Lissar's blog: Yesterday
http://aerinlissar.blogspot.com/2015/05/yesterday.html
Food, kids, thoughts, books, homeschooling. Thursday, May 07, 2015. Yesterday Geoff and I went over to Dad's and met our architect friend Stephen to discuss planning about the house, and to start measuring parts. Hoo boy. I have no idea what I'm doing, and this is so big. We are impoverished and not used to doing anything bigger than, oh, buying groceries. Stephen was asking me about colour preferences, and siding materials, and building styles, and I realized that while I have preferences they're inchoa...

the future I hope for: October 2013
http://thefutureofhope.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
The future I hope for. I’ll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. Jer 29:10-11 The Message. Monday, October 21, 2013. I hate journaling. I do, truly. Sitting and writing about feelings and stuff. Blech! Playing on the computer- that I like! I went to a women's retreat this weekend. I discovered what I already knew. Can one do that? To know t...

Lissla Lissar's blog: Sorry for the silence
http://aerinlissar.blogspot.com/2015/05/sorry-for-silence.html
Food, kids, thoughts, books, homeschooling. Sunday, May 03, 2015. Sorry for the silence. I have been agonizingly and slowly setting up this shop. Which has been in operation for less than twenty-four hours and has failed to bring me thousands of dollars of revenue. I'm so disappointed. So a lot of blogging time recently has been me weeping at the computer, saying, "Geoff, I don't understand why it's not woooooorrrrking! And him sighing in exasperation and then fixing things.
