Monday, July 28, 2008. A Birthday Worth Celebrating. Friday was my Mother-in-love's birthday. We had a lovely family dinner, followed by some fun and games. Friday, August 22, 2008. We had the pleasure of attending the Southern Heritage Ball a couple weeks ago. Daniel helped teach along with his brother Micah, and everyone had a grand time! Ladies and gents were dressed up in costume, and there was scrumptious food, along with good company. You really had to be there to appreciate all the fun, but here are a few glimpses of the evening's pleasures! My father-in-law and husband can be seen dancing the "Gay Gordon" here. Then I have days like this from a couple of weeks ago where I realize that they are indeed maturing! At nearly 1.5, Trin. Is becoming her brother's playmate, and it's adorable to watch them work together! Of course there are a fair share of squabbles, but they are often inseparable. The world will keep turning and God certainly will still be on His throne no matter who wins the presidential election. Perspective is needed, long term perspective, that is.
