Ending My Apnea: Yet another MMA recovery blog. Sunday, April 29, 2007. One thought has been nagging me since the first week: Am I sleeping better? I know that the answer is yes. So, the real question is, how much better am I sleeping? Is my apnea "cured"? Or, at least, better to the point where it's not really a problem? So, did the surgery work or not? I browsed some other blogs and boards. To see what people's experiences have been. Some. Report better sleep within the first couple of weeks. Others.

https://donnasjawsurgery.wordpress.com/2017/01/10/day-8
Donna's Journey To Jaw Surgery. Published January 10, 2017. Tuesday 11th October 2016. We were also running low on paracetamol so my dad asked how we go about getting some more but he said dissolvable ones from the local supermarket will be fine now. (Turned out, i had my last dose that evening and never touched medication again). I also had to go and see the orthodontist as the surgeon finally decided I needed bands on! They were a nightmare to get on. Larr; Day 7 – One Week! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

https://donnasjawsurgery.wordpress.com/2016/09/14/surgery-cancelled/comment-page-1
Donna's Journey To Jaw Surgery. Published September 14, 2016. Just received the dreaded phone call. Surgery has been cancelled! I was kind of expecting it after my last visit to the surgeon so wasn’t upset or surprised. The lady said we’re rearranging your appointment with Mr Smith because you know your surgery’s been cancelled don’t you? I said Not that I know of! She literally just said I’ll ring you back. I can live with a weeks delay but it’s just frustrating! One comment on “ SURGERY CANCELLED!

Donna's Journey To Jaw Surgery. All posts for the month May, 2016. Last ortho appt before seeing Surgeon. Published May 19, 2016. Monday 16th May 2016. Whilst walking back to work, several thoughts went through my head:. I don’t recall the ortho or surgeon mentioning my weight so far. I was accepted when I had my wisdom teeth out (okay, I wasn’t on liquids for weeks after). Younger people (so possibly lighter than me) have this surgery. I checked my BMI and it says im healthy. Donna's Journey To Jaw Surgery. Published October 23, 2016. Saturday 8th October 2016. Today I started feeling more like myself. I felt like I was turning a corner and over the worst. My mum had been visiting me every day this week (and was so happy to see her every time) and we had discussed that we would go for a little walk round the block – just to get some fresh air. I was tired at the end of it because didnt have much energy with being on soups and milkshakes but it was nice. Off to rob a bank!

https://donnasjawsurgery.wordpress.com/2017/01/10/day-10
Donna's Journey To Jaw Surgery. Published January 10, 2017. Thursday 13th October 2016. I had been looking forward to mashed potato for weeks and it was AMAZING! Who knew you could get so excited over mash! So I knocked on the door and was let in (and obviously apologised to my mum for turning around. I was obviously having a dumb moment – i cant even use the drugs as an excuse – had to laugh about it – silly me! Larr; Day 9. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Donna's Journey To Jaw Surgery. All posts for the month January, 2017. Published January 28, 2017. Monday 17th October 2016. Where does the time go? I don’t have much written in diary for today. I’m assuming that I’m feeling much more better in myself but still quite numb and stiff. I know mornings are still difficult. The pressure in my head and ears are still bad. Today I had some porridge for breakfast and later tried some meatballs with more mash 🙂. Published January 28, 2017. I haven’t rushed...

Day 9 | Donna's Journey To Jaw Surgery
https://donnasjawsurgery.wordpress.com/2017/01/10/day-9
Donna's Journey To Jaw Surgery. Published January 10, 2017. Wednesday 12th October 2016. Today I managed a full tin of carrot and coriander soup! Over the last few days, ive only managed half and then had the other half another time. I know the surgeon said I could try soft foods now but didnt want to have all softs in one go so planning on weening off the soups over the next couple of days. My dad also mushed up a full banana which I managed straight after my soup. Such an achievement! Larr; Day 8.
