Mel's Blog Mania: November 2007
http://mellabel.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 26, 2007. Sunday, November 4, 2007. Learning by Doing Rules! I worked in a Montessori School as the Physical Education Teacher for almost 2 years ( preK. Grade). I feel Constructivism was definitely at work in that school. Students were actively engaged in their learning. For example, preK. Activity and they track and evaluate their own diet. Sunday, April 19, 2009. Are Free Tools Worth The Price? I absolutely believe that Web 2.0 tools can be a valuable addition to any lesson. Students become motivated when they are using technology because it's part of their everyday lives. Incorporating these tools into the classroom not only makes sense but it is essential in keeping students engaged and class material relevant. Brainpop.com, nutritionexplorations.org. Sunday, October 18, 2009. Cheering from the Sidelines. And take care of myself; but I am not used to being outside the vortex and to actually having time. To reflect on things happening in my profession. That being said, reading Joyce Valenza's blog post, My 2.0 day and the response/rant about our cover argument. Thanks to a heads up from Cathy Nelson. And various Judge shows! I am surprised and not surprised by the responses to Joyce's article and responses Doug Johnson received in his Blue Skunk blog.
