Texas Mommy's Ramblings: Baking cookies!

http://texasmommysramblings.blogspot.com/2012/09/baking-cookies.html

Sunday, September 2, 2012. We recently realized it had been a long time since we last baked and decorated cookies. When Noah was small and Andy was a baby we decorated cookies often. We decided it was about time to do it again! It was really fun! Josh is always fun to mix the cookies and help the boys. We decided we would bake them one day and ice them the next! It ended up being a fun and silly time! Look Mama, messy! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Andy made a joke!

Texas Mommy's Ramblings: January 2015

http://texasmommysramblings.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Tuesday, January 20, 2015. My Dad even cut out a back for me, so Josh and I set out to wallpaper each room. It was a fun project to do together! We used Matte Mod Podge and did a light even coat under, smoothed the paper out on top and did a coat over the top of the paper when we were done. I also found the little rugs at Michaels. They were also $.50 a piece and were just little doilies made from yarn. SO precious! I hope you enjoyed the tour of our little dollhouse! Links to this post. Kim's Kandid Kol...

Texas Mommy's Ramblings: Andy made a joke!

http://texasmommysramblings.blogspot.com/2012/09/andy-made-joke.html

Saturday, September 1, 2012. Andy made a joke! There is something about Andy. He has a will to make others laugh and smile. He has always loved picking me flowers, because he knew I would smile. He loves being goofy or singing me a song, because he knows I will smile and today he made his first joke! At the lunch table the boys were eating grapes. Andy said "Noah, do you have a baby in your belly? Then he busted out laughing! I love his sense of humor! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Andy made a joke!

Texas Mommy's Ramblings: August 2011

http://texasmommysramblings.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Wednesday, August 24, 2011. After bible class tonight the picture Noah colored blew away in the wind. First I thought it was Andy's and poor Andy in his sad pouty. Voice said "Mama, but I made that fooooorrrrr. Then I looked in the front seat and realized it was Noah's. Poor Noah then busted into tears. Then he said "OH! God made the wind, so maybe God can send it back to our house and we can find it? I sure wish that was possible! I have my own little rain sensor! Links to this post. We still have lots ...

He then looked outside and realized it was still dark. He decided it was funny he went to bed when it was light out and got up when it was dark out! Sitting on his brothers bed getting ready! Baby sister, ready for the walk to school! Our sweet Noah. He looks so big and handsome! He was seriously about to burst, he wanted to get to school! Http:/ texa...

Monday, December 12, 2011. Well, where do I start? So much has changed since I last posted:). We are expecting our third little one! We are SO super excited! Josh and I feel so blessed to have this little one on the way, this upcoming June. The boys are SO excited too. Andy lays his sweet little hand on my tummy often wanting to know if the baby is still in there. Noah talks about it all the time too. Texas Mommy's Ramblings: July 2012

http://texasmommysramblings.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html

Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Sweet friends from Colorado! Beth and the kids drove two whole days to come see us! They got here soon after Emma turned six weeks old. It was exciting, because our other kiddos were much older when we finally got together after each of them were born. It was so nice to have her come and the kids loved having playmates! We played a lot! Emma was still too little to go out much, so the kids played a lot of dress up, loved the sand box, and did lots of crafts! Links to this post.

A Little Slice of Life | Exercise, travel, family, me and life

A Little Slice of Life. Exercise, travel, family, me and life. Why Exercising is Good for your Body. As you exercise, your body releases hormones to help you improve your mood for the rest of the day. Endorphins, one of the hormones released, is stowed within your brain and the nervous system, causing the body to respond with an analgesic (relieving) result, initiating a positive feeling. That is why, when you hear people tell you to go work out and relieve stress, they couldn’t be more right! Remember, ...

Thursday, August 21, 2014. As soon as a friend of mine told me about the Texas QAL hosted by Pretty Little Quilts. I knew I had to join. We were so excited about it that between us, I think we came up with a million different variations to make it our own. I already have plans for a second to highlight my hometown. Enough talking and on to the pictures. Wednesday, October 30, 2013. I included a double layer of batting with a layer of vinyl tablecloth material in between. I wanted the waterproof layer...
