World as I see it! Biased article in “The Hindu”. Posted on November 7, 2013. On 6th NOv, ” The Hindu” carried an Op-ED page article by Mr N.Ram, titled ” Narendra Modi and why 2002 cannot go away”. Http:/ www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-opinion/narendra-modi-and-why-2002-cannot-go-away/article5318984.ece. World as I see it! Guru – The Teacher Part-II. Posted on March 28, 2013. I am continuing the sharing of my thoughts on Guru, the Spiritual Teacher on whether we should hold them in respect and are they expected to be following what they preach. I am sure it looks like an unfair thing to ask for and it is a huge loss to the disciple. But respect for Guru was such that there was no question of disobeying. Will I respect my Guru if I was Ekalavya? Om Sahana Vavatu Sahana Bhunattu. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti Om.

The bursting of firecrackers is a unique pleasure most of us in India look forward to. While in many other countries we can only watch “community fireworks”, here we can actually choose, buy, light them on our own. Obviously children enjoy this immensely and as we grow older, the interest may wane off for some! Http:/ www.thehindu.com/todays-paper/tp-national/tp-kar...Enter...

World as I see it! India’s Mars Mission. Posted on November 5, 2013. If we were to wait for all basic problems to be solved before working on developing technology, humanity could not have made much progress. With regard to cost, we all hear about amount of monies lost due to corruption and scam – running to LAKHS of CRORES! And we can go on! That is worth lot more! Posted in Fascinating India!

Skip to main content. Skip to secondary content. My Trip & Photo’s. The Value Of Ekadhasi Vratha. A person who feeds just one brahmachari earns ten times more merit than one who feeds ten good brāhmanas in his own house. But a thousand times more merit than is earned by feeding a brahmacārī is achieved by donating land to the needy and respectable brahmana. A thousand time more than that is earned by giving away a virgin girl in marriage to a young, well-educated, responsible man. A human being should ne...
