I'm Martin McCarthy, a photographer based in Glasgow, Scotland. I've been taking photographs of Scotland's landscape - particularly ancient sites - since 1993. The Ancient Scotland. Website has been documenting those ancient sites since 1995 and is illustrated with thousands of my photos. Before becoming a full-time photographer in 2007 I had my own computer consultancy business and I am the author of several technical journal articals and computing books.
