Benjamin — revisited: No more hotel
http://blogamin.blogspot.com/2007/07/no-more-hotel.html
No more hotel for now. No more automatically clean towels and breakfast buffés, no more restaurants-every-day, no more living at St. Olav's Square, no more vouchers. On the other hand, no more living in a suitcase and needing stuff you have on the other side of the country, no more tiny fridge filled with overprices tiny bottles, no more hotel beds, and hotel dudes turning on the wrong lights, and no more checking out Friday morning and taking a suitcase to work. Benjamin — revisited: August 2004

Turns out, after Ivar and Eirik did some research, that the car could be fixed by pressing in a little thingy in the carburator. And now it runs better than ever. Might still be due for some sprak plug replacement though. As soon as Fadmar buys a sparkplug key. Posted by Benjamin @ 11:39. View my complete profile. I dont live here anymore. No suits in my suit case. Jag fick ett brev. Notes from the shore.

Benjamin — revisited: John R Chang
http://blogamin.blogspot.com/1990/01/john-r-chang.html
John is an atypical American, he eats mushroom burgers, votes Nader (this alone is a marginalizing property), is - by assumption the only guy from Indiana that speaks fluent Swedish, at least the only one with Asian background, they say. Then again, he advocates McD's and totally relapsed the other day and bought coke and those awful circular cereals. John is on leave from Apple - and is a convincing, but not religiously fanatic advocate of Apple's soft- and hardware. That's because we make good food.

Benjamin — revisited: December 2004
http://blogamin.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_archive.html
Her i Fes ligger hasjroeyken tjukt over lainnet. Vaar guide sjonglerte ledig mellom tynne og tjukke. Nei, naa stikker jeg. Skal slaekken litt paa terassen. Ciaos. Vet ikke naar det blir mulig med nett neste gang. Hei nu, og god jul. Albuminuria is...

Benjamin — revisited: January 2005
http://blogamin.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
Nobody places a bet! Anyways, I think they're off since I'm buying some books on Monday. I was at a concert yesterday with the Young Neils. I couldn't have less of a clue about Neil Young. So it was not my best experience ever. But I had fun at Samfundet. Tonight: Party at Jon's. Posted by Benjamin @ 13:46. Place your bets now! Ok, here's the deal folks. I am listed for 4 classes at the university. The bet is as follows, but you can modify it at your own will. The 4 classes are:. Newer history after 1750.

Benjamin — revisited: Ron
http://blogamin.blogspot.com/1990/01/ron.html
Posted by Benjamin @ 01:00. View my complete profile.

Benjamin — revisited: Jag fick ett brev
http://blogamin.blogspot.com/2007/04/jag-fick-ett-brev.html
Jag fick ett brev. I got a letter. A real letter, and although without stamps, it contains plenty of real-life impact. It was from Lånekassen, informing me that my life in freedom was over. Years of carefree student life of regularly getting "paid" is over, and the past is back to haunt me for the next decades with quarterly brain mortgages. Does this mean I'm finally grown-up? Benjamin — revisited: Notes from the shore
http://blogamin.blogspot.com/2007/04/notes-from-shore.html
Notes from the shore. I'm back from New York. New York is very chaotic and nobody stands still or stays quiet. People dress and talk just like in the movies. And though assumed to be opposites, New York and Beijing are frighteningly similar. Maybe it's just got to do with size, and loud people. This is a picture on the terrasse outside the Google cafeteria - Pablo invited us for a gourmet free lunch. Maybe the best meal in New York (especially if by "good" you also add healthy). Up here, everything is a ...

Benjamin — revisited: Clover
http://blogamin.blogspot.com/2007/05/clover.html
A new coffee maker is in town, the brand new machine from Clover. Which supposedly makes coffee by some kind of vacuum principle (instead of pressure or just plain old gravity, I suppose, I haven't really gotten into it, as I don't expect to own one anytime soon). And I didn't feel ripped off paying 25 NOKs for the cup, but I would have felt a little un-mesmerized if I'd paid 11 000 dollars for the hunk of steel. Or to sum up like John did: "it's good. it's not $11000 good.". Posted by Benjamin @ 17:18.
