Sunday, May 1, 2011. Pink flamingoes and heavy drinking! Yesterday colby and i saw the movie gnomeo and juliet. While we were watching it i decided i wanted two things for my backyard.a gnome and pink plastic flamingoes! You have to see the movie to understand why. So after the movie we went to hobby lobby to look for gnome. they had a few, but they weren't cute. then i thought, "ooooh! Why not paint my own gnome? How fun would that be? Still my right now. January 8, 2011. Tonight for supper, we had my yummy chicken pepper-jack taquitos! They're pretty easy to make, and they are so yummy! Here's the recipe: (the original recipe came from food network. i changed it up a bit.). Amy's chicken pepper-jack taquitos. 2 tsp olive oil. 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-size pieces. 1/2 c chopped roasted red peppers, drained (from water-packed jar). 1/2 c chopped onion. 8 burrito-size flour tortillas. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Still my right now. January 20, 2011. So far this week. So this week started with the ever UNpopular staff development day for the teachers while the kids had a day off! One good thing about these days, though, is that we actually get to eat lunch at a normal speed instead of inhaling it, and we get to eat at a restaurant! Our team chose outlaws! Still my right now. March 5, 2011. This week seemed to drag on and on! I don't know why, but i was exhausted by the end of it! Monday, August 31, 2009. Fall is teasing me! The temperatures on this last day of august were unbelievable! When i got in my car this morning, this was the temperature:. Monday, October 11, 2010. Fat guy's and a carnival. So last week wasn't all that exciting. I had a 3-day workshop in tulsa about literacy. i've had a similar training in arkansas, but i still learned some great ideas and activities. the best thing was that we got to eat lunch at real restaurants (not in a teacher's lounge) and we had an hour and a half! That's an eternity to a teacher. Daryl was sick all last week with a virus that the doctor said was very contagious and was lasting 10-15 days! I forgot ...
