Towards the end of the school year I wasn’t sure what I was going to do for a job or where I should be living this summer and in the midst of that got hooked up with a pretty sweet offer. I have some friends who work at the Covenant Church in Marin, CA. and knew that a family in their church was looking for a housesitter for 3 months. Enter me…! Dinner outside with Michele. Thursday, August 28, 2008. While this week has been eventful on many levels (ie starting the fall semester and starting a new job), more than anything this week have been overwhelmed with pride and appreciation for my family. Another source of my pride is that Michele started orientation this week as a graduate student. I'm so proud of how hard she works and how focused she is. I'm also so excited for her to pursue this degree and to have the chance to pursue her career as an artist. Take a bow" - Rihanna.

Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Landon and Liz's Wedding. After the week with my dad’s family in Maryland we had an excuse to see all of my Mom’s family in New Orleans for my cousin Landon’s wedding. Last Christmas Landon brought his Fiance Elizabeth to Denver to meet the family and it was not hard to quickly like this girl. They were married on July 10. Welcome to the Family Liz! Monday, October 13, 2008. I catch myself thinking "I can't believe it's October" a lot these days. I know it's somewhat cliche but I really can't believe that we are here. Seriously, October? Here are a few highlights of my life the past few weeks. One of my favorite parts of fall is homecoming and the NP homecoming BlocParty! And my days with these two are never boring.
