http://louvierlove.blogspot.com/2010/07/life.html
Thursday, July 1, 2010. Sometimes I just need to write (or in this case type) out my frustrations. Let me just say that I am SO anxious.I'm anxious to be done with things and anxious to start new things. We have been house sitting for another couple (friends) for the week.what a blessing! Right now Caleb really feels like we need to stay there not only for fanancial reasons but because of grandpa's health. Caleb has been a huge help! Other things I'm so anxious and excited for:. A home of our own. Even t...

Monday, September 19, 2011. Our Mostly Finished Living Room. I have this ugly orange folder where I keep my house decorating inspirations. It's like a more archaic form of Pinterest. I call it Staplering:. Anyway, this month we officially celebrated our one-year anniversary as Savannah homeowners. Though I have completely underestimated how long it takes to finish working on a home, our living room is for the most part complete. This is what it looked like when we moved in:. And here's what we did:.

Tuesday, November 22, 2011. And there are so many worthy options:. Regular cinnamon rolls with vanilla glaze. Or super awesome cream cheese frosting. Or Buttermilk syrup (which my southern lady friend calls Buttermilk "gravy"). Or pumpkin cinnamon rolls with pumpkin pie spices. And, of course, super awesome cream cheese frosting. Or I could be really ridiculous and make cookie dough again. Or stuff the cinnamon rolls with apples sauteed in brown sugar and butter. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Steed Corral: Questions...

Friday, October 19, 2012. Today I heard this song on country radio called "Beer With Jesus." Okay, it sounds sacrilegious, I know, but hear me out. I have no problem with having a drink. (Getting drunk, however, that's another topic.) Here's the lyrics and you can decide for yourself:. If I could have a beer with Jesus. Heaven knows I’d sip it nice and slow. I’d try to pick a place that ain’t too crowded. Or gladly go wherever he wants to go. You can bet I’d order up a couple tall ones. What’s on t...

The Steed Corral: These are the Days
http://blsteed.blogspot.com/2012/09/these-are-days.html
Sunday, September 30, 2012. These are the Days. Recently, one of my favorite songs is number 6 on my Sugarland CD, "These are the Days." It reminds me that even when things seem overwhelming, even when life is so daily. Someday I will look back and remember these days. These are the days before kids, days in a. Someday I will look back at these days and smile wistfully. Though I truly hope and pray I will enjoy and even embrace wherever I happen to be at that moment, I know I will look back at these ...

The Browns: October 2012
http://lyndrewbrown.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 3, 2012. So clearly I can't seem to blog anymore. I can't even manage to read blogs anymore. And it's not for lack of time, trust me. This semester I'm only teaching World Lit, and I just finished watching the whole first season of Once Upon a Time. And now they might be getting back together? Oh, what, you don't care about Rob and Kristen? US Magazine isn't a bookmark on your browser? Will Arnett and Amy Poehler. They're funny. Smart. Creative. Have two kids. Make ...Then they broke up.

Friday, March 30, 2012. San Diego: Zoo and Hodad's. The zoo was amazing, and I am so glad we took the time to go. After our bus tour, we wandered around some of the exhibits and quickly realized this zoo was huge! From here we moved over to the panda exhibit since this is something we can't see in Seattle. It was quite busy and we had to wait in a short line in order to walk on a small walkway in front of the panda. We saw a couple pandas and then it was over. I am glad we went through the ex...After the...

The Walker Clan: April 2012

Tuesday, April 24, 2012. San Diego: Our last day. We had one objective for our last day in San Diego: keep Owen awake until we boarded the plane at 3:00 pm! After our crazy flight down, we were hoping to get him to sleep for the entire flight home. His usual nap starts around 2:00 and while we were in San Diego he often fell asleep by 12:30. We knew it would be tough keeping him awake, but we were determined. This is what we returned home to! San Diego: La Jolla and Tommy's. I tried Target first, because...

The Walker Clan: December 2011
http://lukeandkendra.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 2, 2011. 18 Months (We are running a bit late around here). Owen is now 32 3/4 inches tall (70th percentile), and 23 lbs 12 oz. (25th percentile). Owen is a climbing, jumping, running machine! He loves to do agility drills with his daddy and Grandpa Walker. He also did his first somersault over Thanksgiving break unassisted. I think it was a bit of a one time fluke, but he was so proud of himself when he finally accomplished it! He has been trying to do it on his own for a few weeks now.

Sunday, May 6, 2012. Baby on the Way: 1st and 2nd Trimester. I was looking back at old blog posts and realized pretty quickly that I have not blogged much about this pregnancy! When we found out we were pregnant again, we were thrilled! Fortunately, I am feeling pretty well now, other than the fact that I feel like the size of a whale. The best part of this stage is that our little boy has become incredibly active! Here is our sweet boy at 21 weeks. Here is our boy at 27.5 weeks. A little piece of me.
