Funny thing happened the other day: I blinked…and my son is over. 4 Months (Adjusted age: 1.5 months) - 09/04/13. 13 lbs 8 oz, 12.61%. 225 in, 0.07%. 4 oz, every 2-3 hours, bottle and breastfeed at night. Down at 6:30pm, sleeping through the night, awake at 5-6am; takes 4 naps. A great talker, tracks everything, laughs. 5 Months (Adjusted age: 2.5 months) - 09/24/13. 14 lbs 9 oz, 17%. 2325 in, 0.15%. Saturday, December 21, 2013. Today was just one of those fun days. We had such a great time. First, Emma and I went to a friend's birthday party: morning at the park and city fire house. Friday, September 13, 2013. This week for school we have been focusing on sounding out simple words. This is the egg game! I list a few words and letters and Alyse and Grant take turns sounding them out and if they get it correct they can flip the egg onto their plate. They enjoyed doing this for about 15 minutes. Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Leading up to David's Birth: Part III Tuesday. I stayed up and couldn't sleep as a million things were running through my head. I worked on a blog post on my IPhone, but it just got deleted because the internet connection was sketchy. I took a deep breath and ate the entire spice cake at 2am. Went to sleep after for a couple of hours until I was woken up by the nurses to take my vitals. A new day nurse was amazing. She brought me a bedside potty, you know, as a gift. Lisa Burning...

Its no secret that I have warm feelings for the home of my youth- my family lives on a small 12 acre farm and when we moved here and with the last name Farr- it quickly was dubbed "The Farrm". We lost our job in November, moved here about a week after we found out- and made it just in time to celebrate Thanksgiving with my parents and 4 teenage siblings! Good news is that Jeremiah has a few sticks in the fire and one of them is that on Monday he has a 2nd interview with a great company in Kent, Wa! This job is 45 min from my mom and would be soooo wonderful! We are hopeful that this works out and that we will be able to transition smoothly- but time will tell. Carrie and the Boys. Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Soccer- Alyse's first game. Time to warm up! Taking her turn sitting out. They played 3 on 3. These guys were so good clapping for Alyse! Grants got his game face on! Alyse was a great team player, she never made a goal herself,. But got the ball across the field many times. She's pretty proud of herself right about now. I have to take a picture of me once in a while. Alyse is all the way to the left. She rocked! Pretty girl, pretty braid! We're sooo excited of all this!
