Reflections of a Ragamuffin
http://reflectionsofaragamuffin.blogspot.com/2008/04/great-friend-of-mine-writes-profound.html
Reflections of a Ragamuffin. Tuesday, April 1, 2008. A great friend of mine writes a profound blog entry quite often that constantly inspires, encourages, and challenges me. I don't know if these entries will do any of those things, but I hope you can take something away. I am just starting to read the book of Joshua, and yesterday I was stuck on this passage from the first chapter-. Have I not commanded you? God repeats that line "Be strong and courageous" several times just in that first chapter.

Tuesday, April 21, 2009. The craziest thing for me right now is realizing that in the next 3 weeks, I'll have taken 3 finals (the hardest i'll have taken at UNC), finished my second (and most draining and hard) year at UNC, have said "see ya later" to my friends, and have boarded a plane for the 20 hour trip to SA. Thursday, July 24, 2008. Home in just under 6 days. Looking forward to it. I´ll be leaving Moyobamba Saturday afternoon, then traveling to Tarapoto. I´ll stay in Tarapoto for a day or so, and catch my flight from the airport in Tarapoto Monday Af. Ternoon. It´s then a night full of flying for me, as I head first to Lima, then pass through customs and immigration in Atlanta. I´ll have just enough time (hopefully) to pass through and catch my flight to Charlotte. Of my first set of pictures. Anyways, tomor...

Thursday, May 29, 2008. I've had a slow day at the clinic today, so I decided I might post a little message on this blog. Everyday at 1, the clinic closes for everyone to go home and eat and take a rest. The clinic then reopens at 3 and then closes for the day at 6. but it´s getting close to 1, which means it´s lunch time. Links to this post. Saturday, May 17, 2008. Just around the corner. Thursday, June 26, 2008. Here´s some pictures. They are quite random, but descriptions will come later. This picture is of a site I have seen maybe 50 times (no joke) in the past week. The picture shows participants in a procession of several different groups. The groups dance, normally in pairs, for a couple of blocks. I like the picture because everyone´s expressions are very telling of their enjoyment. They are dancing towards something like this:. Links to this post. Friday, June 13, 2008. Again, I h...

Reflections of a Ragamuffin. Saturday, July 12, 2008. So I'm sitting here halfway through a summer full of CTOPS, and I stand in complete awe of how GOOD the Lord is, how FAITHFUL He has been, and how many DOORS He has opened. It is hard to put into words everything I have learned about myself, my team, and the Lord this summer! Check out this song by Shane and Shane. We sang it a bunch on our Intervarsity retreat to Rockbridge, and I have been obsessed with it this week :). You are the greatest taste.
